In the 1960s, having recently completed work experience in the offices of the renowned Eero Saarinen, Warren Platner was commissioned to create a new line of furniture for the Knoll Company. Fashioned from a base sculpture of hundreds of wire rods, the furniture pushes the boundary between furniture and architecture, without neglecting practicality.
